RSVP of the Flint Hills is a community-based program funded nationally by the Corporation for National and Community Service and locally by the United Way and the Riley County Council on Aging.

Based in Manhattan, Kansas, RSVP provides opportunities for those 55 years and older to volunteer their services and to make a difference in their community. We are a one-to-one volunteer referral agency serving residents throughout Riley, Pottawatomie and Geary County.

Organized in 1974, we are an incorporated and independent non-profit agency. RSVP matches the skills and interests of its pool of volunteers with the needs of service organizations already helping area residents.

Approximately 480,000 RSVP volunteers serve in more than 750 RSVP programs nationwide, contributing more than 90 million hours of service annually to communities across the country.
Currently, 350 RSVP volunteers serve at 55 volunteer stations in our service area. Annually, these volunteers contribute nearly 55,000 hours of volunteer service. There is no membership fee to become a member of RSVP.
